Confused

Hello ladies,

I was 4 days late for my period this month and on the 4th day of being late I experienced some light spotting but only when I wiped (tmi sorry) I got my period the next day but it only lasted maybe 2.5-3 days, however I’ve had a really sore back and boobs since before my period and it’s not subsided since my period finished? Has anyone else had this and if so what happened?
