When did you get progesterone tested?

After a miscarriage when did your OB check progesterone levels to determine if you needed supplements or shots with your next pregnancy? After you got pregnant again? Before that? Thx!

Mine tested me with my next cycle after my second miscarriage last year for my progesterone and other things that could’ve been causing the miscarriages. I did have low progesterone and everything else checked out fine. I actually did a couple rounds of letrozole to increase my progesterone which was successful. I also took progesterone until 13 weeks. I’m currently 14 weeks with this pregnancy. Good luck!

My Ob doesn’t think there’s enough research to support progesterone causing miscarriages so she didn’t test me but referred me to fertility specialist who is. It took 3 mc and 2 chemicals before this happened but I wished I’d gone earlier as I can’t help but think the last mc might not have happened but I’ll never know.
