So I had my first appointment yesterday for my rainbow baby. We had labs. Got a dating ultrasound and saw baby at 8w1d and saw the heart flickering. I was told to call and speak with a specific person because my midwife was out today. I called at lunch and she wasn’t at her desk so they passed her a message to call me. 445 rolls around and no call so I call back and was told there was a note that the doctor had to call me back with the results which instantly started my mind spinning that something in wrong. Any ideas? I’m still awaiting a return call which I was told usually happens after all appointments for the day are done. I’m trying to not freak out too badly but it’s not working. What labs do they usually run bloodwork wise and what could be wrong?
