Did/ would you hire a photographer for your delivery?

I am thinking about hiring a photographer for our baby’s birth. I wanted to get an idea of what other women did. 📸🧸

I’ve been considering it! The cost is pretty high though. Not sure I can reasonably afford it.

I’m doing it and this is my first! I don’t necessarily want pictures of her crowning or anything personal of me but I want someone there to get those first moments of us meeting.

I have a photographer friend that specializes in labor and delivery but I don’t know if I want to do it. I’m definitely doing the “Fresh 48” shoot, where they come to the hospital after babe is born, but you can be a little more put together lol.

I think they’re beautiful, but I could never afford it. I’m hoping my SO can remember to get some good pictures. Having another person in there would be to distracting and upsetting to me.

I have my mom in the room and she takes pictures. Professional photographer would freak me out.

No, my hospital doesn't allow it. You should check with yours before you pay one, just to be on the safe side!

I didnt with my first two but seriously considering doing it with my 3rd. 
I contacted a photographer and the cost is $500 so decided against that. Instead we are doing a “Fresh shoot”($250) which is pictures within the first 48 hours and having a close friend do birth photo for us at no cost 😂
I asked SO to take pictures last time but he ended up forgetting plus he got to “catch” baby so he was a little tied up anyway.
