Spotting and cramping? UK mums? Early pregnancy units?

So for the past few days I’ve been spotting- mainly when I wipe and also woke up with it this morning, along with cramps which are worse than I’ve had so far- not excruciating by any means but a lot more noticeable than the ‘normal’ dull ache I’ve generally been having.

I’m unsure what to do, whether to pay for another private scan (had one last week and saw heartbeat), or to go to A&E/early pregnancy unit? The EPU near me isn’t open at weekends so I’d have to wait until Monday morning to book in with them...

What do I do? Should I be worried? I don’t think I can wait until my NHS scan on 15th March, I need reassurance now!
