Leaving Baby with Dad?

Right now, our plan is for my husband to take care of baby when I go back to work after 6-8 weeks of maternity leave. He works from home, it’s a demanding job, but he feels confident that he can scale back and therefore “hand it all”. He’s so capable and has been around so many babies his whole life (parents had 8 kids and ran a home daycare). Plus my mom can come over and help or even stay with us until we can get this down. Don’t think this is very common, but I think the logistics are fairly sound, which makes me feel incredible grateful and blessed.
