Are you able to find the right fondation shade?

Makeup brands are starting to get better at putting out more shades but I'm curious how many people still have a hard time. I have fair cool toned skin and I can usually find a shade light enough but have issues with it being too yellow.

I can see both sides though, its unacceptable for big makeup brands to have a super limited shade range. But I also see how the lightest and darkest shades might not sell the best since not many will use them (depending on the demographics of where you are) I think the best solution is for brands to carry a large selection of shades and for stores to carry what sells and a limited quantity of shades that don't, and then people can still buy online.
