Genetic testing- did you do it?

Question

So, I’m coming up on 10 weeks and have an appointment next week. I’m pretty sure I’ll be doing the MaterniT test, but I’m so nervous. Any feedback? I know these are more accurate than other tests, but I just need some reassurance from those who have been there. Thanks!

I had the Panorama test done and results came back very low risk 1 in 10,000 and it’s 99% accurate. I feel like I can FINALLY relax and actually start to enjoy my pregnancy.

I'm not going to. I have a history of false positives on diagnostic tests, and I'm a HUGE worrier. It would just stress me out. If we see something concerning on an ultrasound, I might reconsider. Otherwise, gonna pass.

I did with both. First Qnatal with quest (I actually sold this test and worked for the company) and second materniT 21 though LCA. Both are accurate. Of course there is always a chance of a false positive, but that chance is very low with both of these tests. Personally I like to have as much info as possible. You can choose to find out the gender or opt out.

I also did Harmony. All came back good, even after I lost my last pregnancy to a Trisomy. I’m having twins and because they’re both girls, Harmony was able to confirm that (it can only indentify two girls, or the lack of a Y chromosome.)

Hi Michelle.  I did harmony as well. The tests came back with low risk. It was nice to have that assurance and find out the sex so early on.

I did the harmony test. Came back low but at 28 weeks I found out that my baby had a chromosomal abnormality. She had a bowel blockage and would need surgery right after birth. This type of issue had a 33% link to downs so we were so worried but when she was born she did not have downs and after the surgery to repair the blockage she was a healthy beautiful baby girl

I am in my 27th week now. 38 with a prior miscarriage so we did have the genetic testing at 9 weeks. It was all low risk. Still have to wait till he is here to give you more feedback!
Definitely nice to know so early on since we have two other children and it did ease my mind so that was worth it to me.

I did the harmony test. Everything came back low risk and it was a girl. It was accurate. She's perfectly healthy and 7 months old now.
