Heart beat

I have a question have any of you ladies ever gone to your doctors appointment and they didn't see or hear a heartbeat..

I went to urgent care on 9/3/15 at 8 weeks and they told me there was no heart activity and I would have to wait to miscarry.. I'm so devastated I'm trying not to lose faith...
