Hello lovelies.

Yesterday my boyfriend of 1 year and 11 months asked me if I’d be okay with him going to prom with his (girl) friend at his school. We are both in high school ( juniors) but we got to separate schools and live 30 minutes away from each other. My boyfriend and I are going to my high schools prom with is May 18, I already have my dress and he knows what he’s going to wear. I assumed I’d be going to his prom with him as well or that he’d go with guy friends. He is such a sweet guy, so this was so odd to me.... Am I preemptively over reacting? I haven’t given him an answer yet either?

I really don’t want to agree and then regret it or not get over the fact he went to prom with another girl, what did they do, did they slow dance, did she catch feelings for him while they danced the night away? What happens at the after party? I’m truly not a jealous person at all I just don’t think this is a good idea.

I also didn’t know if this was the right section to put this in, hopefully 🤞🏽
