So I was having some itching down there and monistat didn’t do much. After going down a google wormhole I decided that I could maybe have trich.

I went to my gyno and he looked in my vagina and he said that everything looked alright. He took a swab and did a wet mount and checked under a microscope and said he saw some signs of mild BV but no trich parasites so I’m probably good.

He also sent it to the lab for testing to be sure. I am so afraid now that it’s going to come back positive for trich because I keep reading that the wet mount test isn’t very accurate. Like that he could have missed the parasite or something.

So basically I’m wondering, has anyone ever had this? Did they do a wet mount test? Did it come back positive or negative?

I’m just looking for some kind of relief right now because the results won’t be back for 2 days and it’s killing me
