Let's talk about iui

We have been trying for 7 years with no luck at all not even a faint line whatsoever about 4 years ago I started getting treated and had an HSG done but my results came back normal my partner had a semen analysis about 3 months ago and his results came back good apparently we have unexplained infertility. I believe our next step will be iui I'm just not super sure how effective it is and what will I be going through.

What was your experience with iui ?

How much did you pay ? With and without medical insurance? What about medication is it expensive?

I contact two fertility specialist

One charge me $750 for iui not including lab work , xrays etc. plus $500 for the visit

The other specialist is charging

$925 includes all of your visits including your insemination up until your first pregnancy blood draw. It doesn’t include the meds. Plus $300 for new patient.
