I haven’t had an ultrasound since 7 weeks, and I’m almost 16 weeks. I have been having a difficult second trimester so far, dealing with chronic high blood pressure that is proving hard to get under control. I have been so sad and worried about how it’s hurting my baby, and today at my doctors appointment I got to hear her heartbeat for the second time. The sweet feeling of relief is indescribable and one only expectant moms can understand—she was moving all around like a little jumping bean and I burst into tears. I already love her so much and I just want her to be healthy and happy.
