What is considered full term Normal birth of a baby?

Meaning how many weeks is a pre term baby if it was born  and if it’s normal?  and if  it’s late past your due date What weeks is that and also is it normal?  like   I knw full term pregnancy is 40 right so what is 42  weeks is it still normal to give birth 42 weeks?

And preterm (not listed) would be before 37 weeks.

My doctor considers 37 weeks full term. I have one more week and he said he will no longer try to stop her if she decided to come. Second baby ❤️

My OB considers 38 weeks full gestation at which point they will induce if needed for medical reasons.

Full term is 40. Anything earlier than that is "technically" premature and later than that is "technically" overdue. But obviously a few days dont matter at all, and if your baby is born at 38 weeks or later, doctors will consider them full term. Most doctors (at least where I live) won't let you go past 41 weeks though.
