Yes, and I had no other options so I couldn’t switch. And then my birth was horrible, so was my aftercare. Due to them being condescending and not listening to what I was tell them.

Yes. I was scheduled for a colposcopy with an OB. I typically see a midwife, but needed a doctor for the procedure. She was incredibly rude the whole time. She called my baby a “parasite” and told me I was “dramatic” for refusing a biopsy and saying if it were between baby’s life or mine, I would always choose to do what’s best for baby. She told me I had other kids at home...which I don’t. Then she didn’t even do the procedure, but did bill for it. I fought the office and they adjusted the bill. I let them know I would file a grievance against her license if I was forced to pay the amount they said I owed. 
Luckily I still get to see my normal midwife. I have made it known that if I need a c-section or a doctor has to deliver my baby for some reason, that it will not be that doctor. I would literally let Joe Schmoe off the street deliver my baby before I let that woman touch me again.

I was 20 weeks pregnant and had been feeling continuous movement since week 15. I hadn’t felt him move in 24 hours. I drank cold orange juice, laid on my side and eventually called my after hours nurse for advice. She told me to go into labor and delivery which is 45 mins away just to check. I felt like it was out of the normal for the baby so I did. When I got there this nurse started abrasively questioning why I was there. “We don’t even have you doing kick counts yet? Who is your provider? Why are you here?” I had my son with me and I had just just drove 40 mins to have her bitch at me so I matched her tone and explained that I know what is and isn’t normal for my body. She then completely flipped and was overly nice. I’m also pretty young (24) and felt like she thought she could act in such a way like when a machine messed up she referred to it as “retarded.” To me that whole trip was unprofessional. What would have happened had there been something wrong?

Yes!  My doctor is AMAZING but the nurses at her practice are super condescending and make me feel like an idiot every time I have a question.  While my dr was on maternity leave we seriously considered switching practices, but I’m glad we waited since she is such a good fit for us.  I do refuse to have my care handled by one nurse and one midwife at the practice though.
