How do I know my water broke ?

I’m currently at work and I keep feeling something come out little by little,  is it supposed to smell like anything ? I’ve been leaking either pee or my water for a few minutes now. Normally with my pee I feel like I can hold it back but I can’t right now

I was told if I soak a pad within an hour then I should go in. So try wearing a pad and see. It could be pee or discharge!

Mine started as a leak from a tear at the top.  It was just a little leakage every now and then but I was certain it wasn’t urine.  I called my midwife and was sent to L&D where they tested the fluid to see what it was.  It was definitely amniotic fluid.

When my water broke I heard a pop, I was actually going pee so wasn’t sure it was my water breaking i went upstairs and told my husband I laid down and I just felt water rushing out and leaking down my leg. You’ll definitely know.
