Clomid 1st cycle question

We are getting ready to start our very first cycle of clomid and it will be a monitored cycle as my dr recommend this is the safest way to use clomid. What I wanted to Know is with clomid is your cycle a set number of days or does it still vary. I don't have a period on my own so I have to take provera to start my cycle and I'm wondering if taking clomid days 5-9 will mean my period/hopefully BFP! should be expected on a certain cycle day.
