Extreme ovulation pain on clomid?

Question

I'm on my first round of clomid 100mg CD 5-9 and I'm currently on CD 16. I have had positive opk test since last night but I'm having the worst cramps I have ever felt. So painful I'm getting nauseous and had to call off work today. Has anyone else had this issue on clomid?

I did on Letrozole. Ovulation day I had light cramps. 1 DPO I broke out in hives and started to have stronger cramps. Today 2DPO I stayed home from work too. I felt horrible like someone bruised my lower abdomen. I’m praying it goes away.

I had severe ovulation cramps followed by a day of spotting in January on my first round. This month I had some cramps no bleeding. It’s confusing for sure lol

Yes I had this happen last month. It was worse than my worst period cramps. I called my OBGYN and they said it could be hyperovulation.
