Period product help

So I normally use pads for my period, but sometimes I use tampons when I want to feel more ‘secure’. I always feel more comfortable when I wear them. Every time I insert it, it feels fine, goes in normal. But every time I try to take it out, it hurts so bad. My legs jitter and I’m almost brought to tears. I have to wiggle it back and forth until it comes out and I have to stop multiple times. Why is there so much pain when I try to pull it out? I’m 15 and have had my period for over two years and none of my other friends use tampons so I don’t know who else to ask.
