Had my glucose test this morning and god, what an absolute nightmare.

I’m covered in bruises and they only JUST managed to get enough blood for the glucose test (they hope!) after an absolute age but they couldn’t get enough for my 28 week bloods.

So they gave me another bloods form and told me to go to pathology on another day but it had to be before my anti d injection next Thursday.

Luckily my mum (who’s a nurse) was with me and suggested we go down to her ward to see her colleague as “she’s the best” so we went and had something to eat first and then this lovely nurse managed to get 2 pots of blood first time, no messing 🙄 definitely going to her again next time I need them doing!!

I’ve got an awful headache now and my arms and hands are so sore but I’m just glad it’s over! Now I’m just desperately hoping my test results come back okay 🤞🏼
