Cervix check??

Probably a dumb question but If my doctor doesn’t say whether or not I’m dilated or effaced, is it safe to assume I’m not?

I'd say yes, I got mine checked at 37 weeks 1 day and she didn't day anything so I asked and yep closed right up 😪
