Vomit or spit up ?

Can anyone help tell me what this might be ? My baby keeps “vomiting” after breastfeeding. She has always spit up here and there but today she’s done 3 really big ones. Could it be over eating ??

That is definitely vomit. I've had this problem with my baby as well. What helped us what burping him during his feedings (not just after), keeping him in an upright position for at least 15 minutes bc when he lays flat it is almost guaranteed he will throw everything back up, and also try not to move baby around so much after eating, too much activity after eating will not help keep it down.

My LO used to do this either when she ate too fast or was over eating. I had to start pumping and feed her through a bottle to watch how much she ate at a time.

So my baby will do this and after talking to her pediatrician, I have to take her off after a certain amount of time and burp her or she will throw it all up. Also I keep her up right and burp her for 30 min after her feeding, if she’s laid flat too soon she’ll throw up it all up just like that

My baby has projectile vomited like this twice and in that large of an amount. Once during breastfeeding and once about 20 min after eating. I now try to burp her more often during feedings and that seems to help...

Are you feeding and laying baby on their back?  My son does that if I lay him on his back too soon.  He has reflux
