Is it normal?

Charlotte

I’m originally from the uk but live in Cyprus. I’m 35+4 and have had a really good pregnancy. When you have your appointments here it’s not sit down visits with midwives, it’s either a quick scan or just a heartbeat check....they speak amongst themselves in Greek and then just tell us when our next appointment is. Don’t get me wrong I am mostly happy with things but especially now I’m coming into the home stretch I really thought I would’ve been spoken to about the labour by now.....is this just me or should I be discussing what to do and what signs I should be looking out for? The last 3 days I’ve had some consistent period pains lasting about 2 hours....I don’t have a number to call as like I said it’s not midwives I’ve been dealing with it’s just the general hospital...I’ve also had slightly more discharge than usual but I’m not sure either if it’s fluid. What should I do?
