Is a 9 month relationship too soon

Is a 9 month relationship too soon for a week long vacation with boyfriend? My mom said we should date for years before we go on an overseas trip but I don’t think that’s true every relationship is different? Plus this trip is to Denmark which isn’t an unsafe country, also my family has never been out side the US.

I don’t see the problem, plus I’ll be checking into the US embassy once I land to let them know I’m in the country.

My family and I differ when it comes to life styles, I like adventure and exploring new places. I don’t like putting my life on hold because of others opinion. Life is short and I could die during the years I waste, venting someone who I’m already in a serious relationship with.
