Baby “sprinkle” for second baby?

My mother in law asked if I wanted to have a sprinkle for this baby! We have a 4 year old and only planned on 1 child so we got rid of everything! We plan on having maybe just 20 people to her house for a brunch to celebrate the baby and play some fun games. Tacky?

Boy he’s now 2 1/2
We only planned in having 2 kids. 
I’m expecting another boy but I literally gave everything away! 
I have nothing. Although I don’t want a baby shower or sprinkle I told my mom IF she chooses to throw one (I know my mom) I want a sprinkle. Nothing big. Maybe smaller items like clothes and diapers 
And I’ll buy everything else. Lol 😂 
But I’m like FUCK I wish I would’ve just kept everything 😩

I think every baby deserves to be celebrated. That being said, I would never throw one for myself. If someone wants to throw you a shower, let them. I think it’s incredibly tacky to expect one or especially to ask someone to throw you One whether it’s your first or your fifth baby. I have an 8 year old son and am due in June with a girl and my sister is planning a shower. We have bought all of the bigger things we need and only registered for little things for those who want to get her something.

If someone is offering it’s not tacky. Personally I will never have another baby shower or sprinkle due to the stress of my baby shower but I think they’re cute.
