No tampons

So my mom won’t let me wear tampons. I’m 15 and every time I ask my mom if I can try tampons she says “no you’re too young stick with pads” the thing is I hate pads. They smells so bad even if you’re constantly changing them and sometimes blood clots get stuck in pubic hair and it’s disgusting. Pads to me feel like diapers and I absolutely do not like it. I really wanna try tampons but my mom won’t let me. What should I do? It’s my body I should be able to decide which products to use shouldn’t I?
