I did a family shoot for my second one. So my husband and son were both included but I made sure to get a couple shots of just me.
Is it customary to do a maternity shoot for 2nd pregnancy (or just first)?

I don’t think I want another one but I’m afraid I’ll regret it later, or maybe #2 will feel like my pregnancy with him wasn’t as special as with his older brother someday when they look through old albums, etc. and it’s definitely not the case (of course)!

I’m not even doing one with our first. It’s weird to me. Of course I will take photos personally but I’m not paying someone to do as such.

We have three professional photographers in our family so we never pay for photo shoots. I don’t think I’d have done a professional one either if we had to pay :)
Do whatever you want I’m not doing one for the first. Maternity pictures make me uncomfortable 😭 but it’s all up to you what you decide! Don’t let anyone stop you 👍🏻

I totally understand. It’s partly why I don’t want a 2nd shoot. I get uncomfortable being the center of attention. I’ll say though that the pix turned out beautiful. I think I’ll do what another commenter suggested and do a family shoot with just a couple of me alone. Family photos make me more comfortable than a solo one :)
