Keeping my fingers crossed

So I’m 8dpo (thought I was 9DPO but I was mistaken) and I had very very light spotting today. Also took a hpt test today cause I was impatient and it was negative. Just a regular test though, not and early prediction one.

I’m so nervous though. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that in about a week AF won’t come and I’ll grab those 2 pink lines.

My question though is, at 8DPO is that too long for implantation? Shouldn’t it happen sooner?

This is my first planned baby and I don’t know crud about how this goes.
