Their policy is skin to skin and this literally crushes me. I DO not want to be the first one to hold our baby. My boyfriend and I are in different cities at the moment and he is missing the last bit of my pregnancy (6 weeks) and quickly has to return back to college...The ENTIRE time I have been pregnant I’ve imagined my boyfriend holding our daughter first... because he will only get to see her on the weekends for the first six weeks 😭 I really wanted it to be “their moment” together right after she was born...is there anyway I can request for them not to put her on me and hand her to her dad?

I’m so upset about this... I’m a huge wreck my heart is literally breaking :( I know some people might think I’m overreacting but my man was really looking forward to being the first to hold her as well since he will probably end up having to leave the next day to rerun back to school. He’s already extremely upset he won’t get to drive us home either... if he can’t hold her first it will literally break his heart and mine too.
