Do I have a right to feel like this?

My husband said he was going out to play poker after work with one of his friends. It’s 4 am and he is still not home. I’m not concerned about him cheating, that’s not what this post is about. I’m 37 weeks pregnant and I feel like it’s just a little inconsiderate to be out this late when your wife can literally go into labor any day now. This is the third Friday in a row he’s been out so late. Should I let him enjoy his last couple of Fridays out late before the baby comes? Am I being petty?? I have a hard time sleeping when he’s not home on top of the already hard time I’m having. Plus we have an appointment for an NST tomorrow morning which I doubt he remembers about.. I just don’t think it’s right.

Here’s my feelings. You should totally let him enjoy his temporary “ freedom “ while he still has it. 
However that doesn’t mean you have to like it or not be upset about it. My husband spends about 6 hours video gaming after work every day and I know it’s because baby is getting close. 
It’s like a baby “bachelor” party. It’s how some men cope with impending fatherhood. 
Do I wanna turn his computer off? Yup. Do I not do it because I understand? Yup. 
You two cope differently. Just know if you went into labour right now, he’d probably bust his butt getting to his child. That’s my favourite thing to remember.

It's not right and he should be home at a decent time I mean 2am even but you gotta talk to him and tell him how you feel i would give yourself time to calm down and be rational and really get a couple of bullet points that are important and lay it out for him calmly example "I'm feeling ____ because you stayed out so late, didnt let me know when you'd be home, and we have an appointment in the morning."

I would at least want him to communicate with me that he’s okay and give me the option to have him come home. I would talk to him about how you’re feeling using I statements, tell him what you need from him and remind him of the NST. 
For a while, my husband was making lots of plans with friends and coworkers and I asked if I was included. Sometimes I would go and other times I wouldn’t feel well enough but I did eventually say, “hey, I really want to spend time with you one on one before the baby comes and I feel like I haven’t seen you without an agenda or plans to get something done for the baby in a while.” That definitely helped a ton. He didn’t know how I felt until I told him.

You need to sit down together and work out some boundaries and let him know what's expected of him. Without telling him he can't guess, he maybe innocently thinks he's having a few last Friday nights out before it's all about to change?
With my husband we sat down at like week 30 and had this exact chat. I told him in no uncertain terms that when I hit 37 weeks he is on a 2 drink maximum rule so he is able to drive at any time. Also to make sure his phone is on and with him at all times and the car full of petrol.
He's not normally one for drinking loads or nights out with the lads, but definately has been staying later and drinking more with his rugby lads on a Saturday night. I honest don't mind and have encouraged him. He knows what I am expecting of him, we have agreed, so we all know where we stand. I'm 35+4 now, so reminded him that he's got tonight and next Saturday night will have to be his last blow out lol.

My BF literally went on a 2 week vacation with his buddies and I cried so hard when he told me...I’m going to be 35 weeks tomorrow. I’d rather have him be gone until 4 am :/

I think your being selfish. Why is it not ok for him to enjoy some time with his friends before the baby? Because you cant sleep by yourself? Idk, personally it seems childish, but why ask for opinions? You have to go on what your comfortable with and you need to communicate to your husband about boundaries. Just keep in mind, your 37 weeks and unless your having health issues your not sharing, you probably will have another 3 weeks before anything serious could start.

Nope you’re not being petty at all. He wanted a baby and if you can’t go out and have fun until 4AM then neither should he. My fiancé doesn’t like going out at all.. I try to get him to go out with his friends while he can but he’s rather stay home and watch movies with me, or we go on dates but he’s never just gone out and stayed out until 4AM. That’s just fucked up.. he does like to play his video games which is fine by me because I’m one of those weirdos who are obsessed with documentaries that he doesn’t like so that gives me time to watch a few documentaries 😂🤷🏾‍♀️

I’d at least want to agree on a time that he’ll be home, so you’re not left wondering when he’ll be back. Maybe my first kid made me old, but I can’t imagine being out until 4! Maybe you could compromise by letting him go out but asking him to be back at a more reasonable time.

Not at all!! The last thing u need to deal with is a drunk or hungover husband while going threw labor! I would be upset too if my hubby was out that late at this stage in the game!
