Blood pressure during pregnancy

I have had controlled high bp for three years. Now we are 19wks pregnant and while my bp is currently still controlled with my meds, i see a specialist perinatal doctor to monitor me closely bc of it. Im wondering if any of you other ladies went into pregnancy with controlled high bp and it stayed good during pregnancy or if you developed preeclampsia? My doctor is super positive with the right nutrition and med management we could be ok but also realistic that there is a moderate chance I may have issues. I have no other risks issues. Im a healthy weight and eat well so fingers crossed. Anyone been through something similar? How did it go for you?
