34 week preemie

Hi everyone. My water broke at 34 weeks and I gave birth to our Ginny Gray. She was 4 lbs, 14 oz. She was able to breathe on her own, but she did stay in the NICU for 8 days due to requiring a bili-blanket, an IV, and a feeding tube. We got to take GG home a week ago, and she’s doing well! She’s gaining weight and can breast feed (although she’s also bottle fed because she needs formula to fortify my breast milk).

I have a short cervix, so I was a high risk pregnancy and basically knew that we’d have a premie, but it was still scary. But at the same time, the hospital was great and I had complete confidence in the NICU.

Here are some pics of GG in the NICU and a week out!
