I had a miscarriage in August 2018, then another January this year at 6 weeks. Fast forward 5 weeks, I never got my period and took a test and it’s positive! I went in for a hcg test and the number is 188. My doctor said it could either be a new pregnancy or I could still have hcg from miscarriage 5 weeks ago. Next week I’ll test again. Has ANYONE ever experienced this? I hate not knowing whether I’m pregnant or not! 188 is pretty high for left over hcg from 5 weeks ago but I don’t want to get my hopes up.
