Subchorionic hemorrhage

Katie

So at 12 weeks I began bleeding and it wasn't until 20 weeks we were able to finally have a diagnosis as to why. I had a massive subchorionic hemorrhage (hematoma) that took up half of my womb. Thankfully on the opposite side of my placenta. And I don't want my health care provider to go under fire from you guys lol the bleed was so big that on all other ultrasounds it just looked like empty space. At 20 weeks we had a hightech scan and they saw all the resolving tissue. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was huge.

So my question is, I'm 36 weeks now and wondering if I should be preparing for anything for my birth. I have a routine check with my Dr in a couple days and will as her then too. I haven't had any bleeding since 22 weeks and have had a normal pregnancy with all it's aches and pains since haha.

Thank you!
