39 weeks and smelling blood?

I'm only 32 weeks and some times I swear I smell blood too...  But I've come to the conclusion that I have a clogged nose and when I blow my nose there is blood

I had some discharge the other day that seemed excessive, so I smelled it to see if it was urine vs amniotic fluid, and it smelled just like blood to me! I don't really have a great answer to why this happens but it wasn't my amniotic fluid, or urine, just discharge.. So maybe this just happens sometimes? I wish I had a better answer but I can say you're not alone at least! If it keeps up though and seems like an excessive amount I would go get checked out to make sure it's not amniotic fluid leaking.. Amniotic fluid has a kind of sweet smell that is sorta similar.
