I need some serious dating advice ladies

Well I met this guy from tinder and we’ve been talking for a week. He lives 45 minutes away from me and next weekend he is planning on driving down and taking me on a date.

We started to talk about relationship structures and he thinks that 50/50 is the way to go because he has been in relationships with women and they expected him to pay for everything and drive all the time to see them.

I was little taken back by this because I’ve been in 50/50 relationships and my ex boyfriend started to slack off and expected me to drive and pay for my own dates so I’m just afraid of this happening again. And 50/50 doesn’t just apply to money, it also has to do with overall effort in the relationship.

I just want to feel wanted and pursued and I’m afraid of this 50/50 turning into 80/20

I was also taken back because he brought this up like the 2nd day we started talking and made it clear that he wouldn’t pay for a woman’s habits what ever that meant.
