When to stop the opk test

Question

After a receive an Positive opk should I keep testing?  Also how long after that do I ovulate? Should I be baby dancing for a few days after a positive opk, or on the day I get it?

Answer

It is recommended to stop testing once you get a positive. As once you get a positive, ovulation will occur within 12-36 hours, and the egg, once released, will be viable for 12-24 hours. I would say to BD the day you get a positive and the 2-3 days after.

I have pcos so I keep testing to see if I get an actual positive or a false positive. A lot of mine look positive but then randomly I’ll get a blazing one then I know it’s real. But if you have regular periods then you could try testing til positive. I also bbt chart so I’d recommend that as well! Good luck!

Try when it starts getting dark and the day of the day after couldn't help the egg stays around for 24 hrs

I’ve still been testing after I got my positive and Saturday... they’ve all been positive the last three days
