Can I bath w/ bath bombs?

I’m 3 weeks PP after giving birth vaginally. I got stitches in my perineum so idk if I can use my bath bombs from lush yet?

You're not even allowed plain bath water, much less a bath bomb

I was advised to have( course sea salt) salt baths because of stitches. It helps heal the tear and prevents infection.

No bath boms, or soaps dowm there please...that would sting ouff, im not sure about the degree of tear.  But i had  second degree and  was advised sitz baths only, and showers for when im washing myself..so im not sitting jn my soap.

Wait for your six week check up . Doctor will give you the okay for certain things. Just bring it up! But give yourself time to heal !

My hospital said it was fine to bath in plain water and use fragrance free body washes but not to put anything in the water. I had an episiotomy and took a bath after I had my little girl. You’ll be fine to have a bath but definitely don’t use the bath bombs, you’ll give yourself an infection.
