PCOS questions! Help!

My doctor recently diagnosed me with PCOS. She didn’t really explain too much, just that I had about 7-8 cysts on one ovary. And unfortunately they forgot to take a picture of my other one. ANYWAYS, we did bloodwork and she said my progesterone levels were fairly low so she’s suspecting I’m not ovulating and suggested trying treatments to TTC.

So my questions to you ladies who have PCOS, does this sound right? Is it true that the only way for me to get pregnant is by taking fertility meds? Also, I feel like I ovulate. My CM becomes a different texture and I find myself being wet a lot. Just needing some advice from ladies who have gone through this.
