I’m just wondering if anyone else had the experience after 12 weeks.

Sorry if this is TMI, but it’s Sunday and the doctors office is closed.

I was in the shower and noticed that a bunch of vaginal progesterone gel was making its own way out. I ended up cleaning quite a bit out. (At first because of the texture of it and how it globs up into balls, I thought my urethra had prolapsed, lol)

I’m still using it until I hit 13 weeks at least (will be this Tuesday) and I was going to keep going every other day after until I ran out of the box I just bought. I did take it a bit late last night than I usually do though.

But I’m wondering if it’s not absorbing anymore because the placenta has formed and is creating the progesterone the baby needs now?

I’m wondering if I need to douche once I’m done, which I’ve only ever done once in my life before. But I have placenta previa and am on pelvic rest, so I’m worried about bleeding if I do it. My ph has been off since I started the progesterone too.
