Suspected infidelity

I have suspected that my husband has been unfaithful either on certain occasions or constantly since last summer. I have not discussed it with anyone and I have let him know that his distance and behavior is hurtful. He cried and said he knew that must hurt me. His behavior hasn't changed and we just started marriage counseling last week. We are a Christian family and if something has happened I want to work through it, but I just have this feeling that it is either continuing or he is burying it in fear. Neither is helpful. I am praying and we are doing devotionals together, I am just at a loss.
