Hospital visitors after birth

With my first I had plenty of visitors and I didn’t sleep well, it was super exhausting entertaining all these people when I had the pains of my cervix shrinking back. And frustrations of trying to successfully breastfeed.

With my second, I told my SO that I don’t want any visitors at all at the hospital. I want to take the time to enjoy that alone time with the baby before we go home and introduce his sister to him. And I don’t want to entertain a bunch of people when I’m just there for 24 hours.

So my question is...

How would you tell everybody you don’t want visitors in a friendly way? I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings.
