How many pairs of Zutano booties?

Sal • One 💙, one 👼🏻, one 🌈 🎀, by ovulation induction after 2 failed IVF cycles 🤯 | Hypothyroidism & lean pcos 🤨

Hi all!

I am putting some Zutano booties in my registry for baby (pic of the style below for those who don’t know). I know these are supposed to be awesome - hard for baby to take off, unlike socks. I’m wondering though, how many should I get per age/size??? There are 0-3mo, 3-6mo, 6-9mo, etc...

Thanks!

U should only need 1 pair per size unless you know you'll loose them lol.. bc baby should still have socks on under them.

My nanny family has one pair, but I suspect they’ll get more once he outgrows then! He doesn’t have issues pulling off socks, but these are good intermediate “shoes” since he’s not walking yet.

I would honestly wait to see if you need them. My daughter is almost 10 months old and has never tried to take her socks off

I have a couple pairs of each size all different colors and style. I love them. My son doesn’t usually wear socks under them since they are suppose to be a replacement for socks, but if it’s bad outside (most days bc I live in MI lol) he does. I personally got a couple pairs Incase one pair gets dirty, or I want to mix up the colors to match an outfit, etc.

They are the BEST!! I have 3 pairs of the 6 month size for my 6 month old. She has been wearing them since she was 4 months and we probably won’t get the next size up because by then it will be warm and she’ll be barefoot a lot. It’s nice having 3 different colors but could get by with only 2 pair.

I only had one pair, but I don’t remember the size. They were great, but I usually just used socks at home when it’s cold because I found some that never fall off (Robeez and Jefferies socks on Amazon). I generally let my son go barefoot every day after around 6 months because I wanted him to get used to the feeling of the floor underneath his feet to help him walk properly, but we keep our house around 72 during the day so it’s never cold.

Maybe wait until baby is born to order? We were gifted a six month pair but my son has big feet and they fit for like a week. He wears 12 month booties (he’s 5 months ☺️)

0-3 wont fit very long. Plus at that age babies can’t take off their socks. So I would skip 0-3 unless you’re having a winter baby and socks won’t be enough. Otherwise I would just get 3-6 months. Then wait because you can always get more for 6-12 months or by then you may just use actual shoes

I just have one pair. It’s really when they are a certain age they may try to take their socks off but after hat usually leave them on. And depending when your baby is born they don’t really wear socks in the summer. I love mine through

Also I got 3-6 because I was told to size up. They fit my 8lbs15oz baby at birth with room to spare and still fit him at 9 weeks.
