Ovulation while Breastfeeding?

We’ve currently started TTC however I’m a little confused with when I am going to ovulate since my cycles are pretty wonky since I’m still breastfeeding a few times a day (my 14 month old). I’ve been logging CM, moods, temperatures etc in the app and it says I’m ovulating tomorrow but I don’t have the egg white mucus and I took a ovulation strip test yesterday with no lines. Anyone else confused with breastfeeding and TTC? Any tips?

I’m in the same boat.. pretty irregular cycles! This is our 1 ttc... I started using opk’s from cycle day 5 until cycle day 28 then I got my positive lh surge!

Probably don’t trust the app since your hormones are different from that of a non-bf woman. Go with the test strips and cm. My cycles were all over the place while bf...I had a 49 day cycle once, then a 25 day cycle after...literally no rhyme or reason. Good luck!
