TTC #01 after Inplanon and history of PID
Hi ladies,
Looking for some advice to help make my TTC journey a little more stress free.
I've been on Inplanon for 4.5 years (replacing after 3 of course) and have just had it removed after my doctor found what he called an 'aggressive increase in fibrous tissue growth' around my Fallopian tubes and ovaries on both sides as a result of PID a number of years ago.
I've had recurring pains from the scar tissue, however was not expecting such an increase like this.
My doctor informed me that if natural conception and pregnancy was important to me, in order for me to conceive and carry healthily I would need to start thinking about TTC.
My partner and I are all go for this and are now planning our lives around this big change.
I'm 23, and have never had a normal or regular cycle. Always had recurring stomach pains, and I've now been off the Inplanon for 2 weeks.
We have been BD all the time, but I'm starting to worry this is going to be a hard experience for me with successfully conceiving.
I would really love to hear any tips, advice, suggestions on anything that I can do to possibly assist in conceiving. I'm trying to stay calm and now stress out, but I feel like there is now a body clock above my head in fast forward mode !
Any and all advice is welcome!
