Odd period and heightened sense of smell. Could I be pregnant?

So I have PCOS. My doctor started me on Metformin at the end of December. Since being off bc I haven't really had a period unless it was forced with Provera. I had a forced period the first week of January. 2 weeks later when I was supposed to be ovulating I started spotting and ended up having a full fledged period. 2 weeks after that I started ovulation testing, but got the stomach flu on my peak days so I dont know if ai ovulated or not because I didnt test. Last week is when my period was scheduled and it wasn't a normal period. It was like light brown spotting with clots. I didnt think much of it and thought it was the PCOS, but all through last week and today my sense of smell is really heightened. I am going to test after work, but I wanted to get your ladies' opinions in the meantime.
