Walking yourself into labor
I’ve had so many women tell me they took a mile or two walk and it started labor for them. I always assumed I would go into labor early with my first because I worked 12 hour shifts and I walked 10 miles daily just at work. Unfortunately it did absolutely nothing for me. My cervix was shut completely at 40 weeks.
Well with this pregnancy I’ve been a couch potato I’ll be honest. I’ve gotten the chance to be a SAHM and I’ve taken full advantage and I get to rest a lot considering this pregnancy has just taken a toll. I’m wondering since I haven’t been active all pregnancy, will walking help this time around? What were your experiences with it? I just feel like walking only helps if your body wasn’t used to it prior to and during pregnancy. But I may be wrong.
