Antenatal expression of colostrum?
Hi ladies! :D I’m 36 weeks today (woohoo one step closer) and my midwife has recommended I can start antenatal hand expression. I have GD and she said it would be a good idea for me because it can be given if for any reason I can’t breast feed and baby needs some sugar :) it’s also been recommended at my breastfeeding class for “regular” pregnancy’s too.
Has anyone had any success with this?
Any tips/tricks for me?
Did your baby use it after birth?
