When is the earliest you should try for baby (ttc, not give birth) after c section if you want a VBAC?

Recommended is 18 months between births whether you have birthed vaginally or C-section to allow your body to fully healed and replenish vitamins/minerals. People have obviously gotten pregnant before 9 months postpartum from a csection and have gone on to have a successful VBAC. I would be more concerned about finding a truly supportive provider for your VBAC.

If you 100% want a vbac, you must wait a minimum of 2 years before even getting pregnant.  Otherwise you're risking rupturing or you scar opening up again 💖💖

Csection with my first born and got pregnant when my first born was 14month ish and from my first to second baby are 23months apart and had a successful VBAC. I am currently pregnant with #3 and hoping for another VBAC and from my second to my third they’ll be 23 months apart as well.

I got pregnant 11 months after a csection and am planning on having a VBAC in the next 2 weeks.  My doctor did not say anything about waiting so long.  I don’t remember what she had said when I asked but it was definitely less than 11 months. I’d say ask your doctor.  Some hospitals/docs are much more pro-VBAC than others.
