Help pls

Hey so my period was said to start 4 days ago but the week before my period I had a stomach bug and my digestive system was all messed up. Right before it happened I have one light spotting and then nothing. Now I still have nothing. Can being sick mess with your period or anything? I took a pregnancy test and it came up negative. I can’t get my mind off of this and it’s giving me anxiety which I know doesn’t help a period come either. I just want it to be here so I don’t have to worry anymore. Wow. Never heard myself say that.
